i agree; subtlety is overrated. i particularly like, "smoking clogs the arteries and causes heart attacks and strokes" and "smoking seriously harms you and others around you." there is also one in england that reads, "smoking can cause a slow and painful death." those zany brits, i suppose it's no surprise they're able to use such graphic language given that they invented the language and all....
